A targetted consultation has begun around the Hillside area of Sidbury on Phase 1 of the Sidford to Sidbury section of the multiuse cycle/footpath between the two communities.
Any comments made will be considered prior to consent for planning being considered by the November meeting of the Devon County Council East Devon HATOC (Highways and Traffic Orders Committee).
I am delighted to see that it looks that at long last we are moving towards fruition of the first phase of this much needed scheme which will eventually link up to the centre of the village and providing a route by and large off road through to Salcombe Road in Sidmouth.
